Sam and Melinda Building a House

John and Suzette Buy Land for a new House

Baby, baby, baby, ooh baby!

Sam and Melinda signed their contract to build a house on May 28th.  The house will be built in a relatively new subdivision at 51st and 193rd in Tulsa, Oklahoma called Eagle Creek, just 2 miles east of Carl and Roberta's house.

The house is a 2112 sq. ft. home with an addition 378 undeveloped sq. ft add-on upstairs, which Sam and Melinda plan to complete over the next 1-2 years.  Downstairs the house will have three bedrooms and a study.

Actual pictures will be posted soon, but here are some pictures from our builder (slightly modified to reflect some of the changes we've made) of our floor plan and outside elevation.  Click here to visit Meadow Homes, our builder.

John and Suzette have purchased some property in Warrenton, Mo. Warrenton is located about 20 miles west from our present location. This would give Suzette about a 22 mile commute to work, except we plan on relocating jobs closer to Warrenton. So hopefully commutes for both of us will be about 10-15 miles. The lot is 3.7 acres and has a large lake. (The lake is shared by two other lots.) It's a subdivision with lots varying in size from 3-6 acres. We plan on building our "dream home" in about 2 years. We can't wait!! This is what John has dreamed of - acreage and a lake. Fishing will now be our new recreational activity. Wow, when the siblings aren't building houses, their populating them!  Here's the rundown of the Pfanstiel's attempts to "be fruitful and multiply" this year.
